Fantasy - 9 books
Sci-Fi - 7 books
Crime/Thriller - 8 books
Non-Fiction - 3 books
Compared to the previous year's:

This year - probably more of the same.
I am almost embarrassed to say this, but I noticed that this year, I was more into the young adult books like Eragon, Elder and Inkheart. Mostly because they were to be made into movies. It's awkward being the old fart at the bookstore in the children's section. "No, I don't need help, just buying this for my 12 year old niece."
ReplyDeleteI usually read at least one young adult book a year - I sneakily filed it under 'Fantasy'... :-)
ReplyDeleteNot gotten round to trying Eragon et al yet, but planning to. Since I'm not buying any books, I'll check out the local library!
That's an impressive list of books that you have read over the last twelve months.
ReplyDeleteThe Bill Bryson book is in my great pile of the unread. I will have to follow your lead and read them before I purchase others.
All the best for 2007.
I read precisely none of those books.
ReplyDeleteI care not for I came round these parts to bid you a very happy new year Weenie.
I thought I was the only person who kept a list of the books I read.
ReplyDeleteBTW we have some books in common.
