The boss took us to TGI Friday's today for lunch as a treat.
Sitting two tables away, with their backs to us, were a couple canoodling.
I wasn't certain at first but I was afterwards when I saw his car in the car park - it was my next door neighbour.
However, that wasn't his wife he was canoodling....
He didn't see me.
It's none of my business, I shan't be blabbing to anyone but I may just mention to him that I saw his car...
weenie blog
Kinda like a diary of sorts for a gal who refuses to grow up but who's old enough to know better, likes her beach holidays, beer, gin, WoW, music, working out, reading, footie and nerdy, geeky sci-fi stuff...

Enter The Dragon
Kung Hei Fat Choy! Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year!
Called the family and had a good chat to all who were celebrating in HK. Me? Well, I cooked something Chinese for me and Boom for tea at the weekend - that was the extent of my celebrations!
The Dragon is my opposite sign so this is supposed to be lucky. How lucky depends on me so I hope I make the most of this year. A big lotto win wouldn't go amiss haha!
2012 has started at a relentless pace, especially at work but with the economic outlook heading towards a double-dip, I have to be grateful I guess that I'm working and that I'm busy.
Am paying more into my pension (not my choice), things are not getting cheaper so I'll need to be less frivolous this year. Time for some supermarket budgeting and perhaps cutting back on the alcohol...maybe!

So close...
...to Kenny last night that I could have said "Hello", except that I was sat among all the City fans!
Not a Premier League tie but probably the only chance I'll get to catch Liverpool this season.
The last time these two faced each other (8 days ago), City emphatically won 3-0.
This time, it was 1-0 to the Reds who triumphed in this first-leg cup tie; City a shadow of themselves.
The usual controversy surrounded the Scousers however, this time Glen Johnson's two footed tackle which went unpunished and Gerrard and Mancini having a post-match spat in the tunnel.
*Update*
And now Stevie G will be a Red until the end of his career - I'm shedding a tear! :-)

Supermarket Bargain (or not)
Tonight's Panorama programme will apparently reveal that supermarket bargains are not quite what they seem.
Here's a great example from my local Tesco store:
Wonder how many people went for this 'bargain' lol?
