Well, what a great start! First day back at work in the new year and I overslept....in a big way!
I don't think I set my alarm properly and it was supposed to go off at 6.15am.
Instead, I didn't wake up until 9.30am...when my mate at work phoned, wondering where I was!
I've never been this late before and when I walked into the office an hour later, all I could hear were mutters of 'sleepy head', 'overdoing the celebrations' etc.
Mortified or what?
Good job the boss saw the funny side of it!
Anyway, the day whizzed by and ended with a good badminton session with the Glamorous C.
Best make sure I have two alarms set tonight just in case...
Wow, you must have been exhausted. Being that it was right after the New Year celebrations, it is understandable. I'm still tired. And I certainly did not party hard.
