I had my annual appraisal with the boss yesterday and got an 'Exceeds Expectations' rating for 2011.
Of course I was happy with this but the issue of my not getting an annual bonus and everyone else on the team getting one continues to rumble on with no end in sight.
Do I believe my boss is doing his best to sort this out? Yes and no.
Yes, because he's a nice guy, we get on and I know he'd like to help me out.
No, because the end result could mean pain for the department in terms of workload and pain for another department.
Ah well, I believe we actually may get pay rises this year so that's a small bonus in itself I guess.
