I'd only been asleep for half an hour when I was woken up by some knocking noises and my bed shaking violently.
I sat up thinking I was dreaming but I was really experiencing the biggest earthquake in the UK in 25 years, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale apparently.
Now I'm bloody knackered cos I couldn't get back to sleep for ages. :-(
oooh yes it was quite exciting, wasn't it? I didn't realise what it was until later - I thought it was part of a dream I was having!
