Further to that issue at work I mentioned the other day, the deadline was today, 2pm. D-Day...
Been working my arse off since Monday on this one deal, was shockingly accused of being unhelpful by the person whose arse I'm saving due to her incompetence and ignorance (she did apologise afterwards but via my boss...), had stroppy voicemails and emails stacking up from various people round the business, my head felt like it was going to explode but I couldn't do anything else apart from this one deal.
Things were still looking really tight in the meeting called this morning but by 11.30am, we managed to pull it all off!
The woman who accused me of being unhelpful came round, gave me a hug and a kiss and thanked me. She knows I helped her big time...and also helped her get a fat commission from the deal.
Now, got the backlog to start clearing - all need to be actioned - everything needs to be done now, asap, immediately, urgently, yesterday.
Can't wait for the weekend...
