Glad Tidings

Good news 1 - THE BOYFRIEND HAS GOT A JOB! WOO HOO! He's been out of work since June and it's been a tough few months (mentally and financially) for both of us. Means we can now really enjoy our holiday next week...

Good news 2 - Liverpool stormed to the top of their Champions League group with a convincing win against Anderlecht. Beautiful goals by Fernando Morientes and Luis Garcia put the Reds firmly in the driving seat. Djibril Cisse came off the bench to fire in the third. The Reds are now just a point away from qualifying for the knock-out stages of the competition. Get in there!

Good news 3 - Chelsea slumped to a shocking 1-0 defeat against an injury-ridden Real Betis. Having beaten Real 4-0 in the home-tie, the Blues were like voyeurs this time and could only watch as an equaliser-bound ball rebounded off both goalposts before being snatched up by the Spanish keeper.

Good news 4 - Did I mention I'm going on my hols soon??? :D
