Couch Potato Day

A truly lazy day, spent mostly sitting on my backside, watching videos and TV. Actually, quite an unusual day, seeing as most lazy days are spent in front of my pc but it seems there's more to watch on TV right now.

Firstly, watched part 1 of 'Sea of Souls' , (which was taped last night) an excellent BBC drama serial about the paranormal.

Next, we watched the film of 'Resident Evil' (again, taped last night) - the film wasn't brilliant but was watchable for a Sunday afternoon. A break to make a late lunch and catch up on emails and then I was watching one of my favourite programmes from my childhood...'SUPERSTARS'! Yes, my childhood included watching in awe as Brian Jacks pulverised the opposition with his tricep dips! Today's episode was the Masters, ie sportsmen retired from their chosen sports, in their 40s but WOW - did they still have fit bodies or what!? :)

A spot of tea and then me and the boyfriend settled down to watch 'Time Commanders' , an excellent (and educational!) programme where teams of contestants battle against a computer loaded with the tactics of the greatest military minds of all time, to fight famous battles from history. Wonderful geeky kinda stuff! :)

At 9pm, we had our daily dose of 'Celebrity Big Brother' (sorry, but I can't stop myself from watching it...) and then finally, we watched the part 2 of 'Sea of Souls'.

Seriously, I haven't watched this much television in one day for a loooong time - can't be a good thing, or can it?
