Despite England not participating, the European championships have given us some excellent matches and one thing you always know is that you don't bet against the Germans!
They looked poor against a weakened Turkish side and were stunned when Turkey took the lead after the German keeper made a schoolboy error.
Germany quickly equalised and then, despite looking far from convincing, managed to score a couple of decent goals (ok the last one was a last gasp brilliant goal) to make it to yet another final. (After tonight's result, they face Spain - hola!)
Anyway, went out for a tapas, an enjoyable evening with intelligent and witty conversation, about football mostly...lol!
Got an action-filled weekend coming up, which by all accounts is going to be a washout but I'm determined to make the most of it! It's been a tough couple of weeks so I just want to have a good time.... Center Parcs - here we come!!!
Yes, the Germans do seem to win against the odds. Annoying!
