Finally got to see him at the MEN Arena in Manchester and it was well worth it. I went with my mates A and the Glamorous C from work.George belted out classics from his both his Wham days and from his solo career.
His voice was perfect throughout and he was clearly enjoying himself on the stage. An excellent graphical set with nice big clear screens, very impressive.
With the fully-packed arena screaming for more, he did two encores, including a duet with Mutya, ex-Sugababe - brill!
He even managed to squeeze in a little anti-Bush/Blair rant.
Not bad for someone who's portrayed in the press as a sad, sex-craved drug-addict spiralling out of control.
