Slöseri Bort *

I weighed myself today. Was shocked to see that I had lost half a stone (3.18 kg to you metric fans) and it's since I took on this assignment in Sweden mid January.

Great news... if I had been trying to lose weight, but I haven't and this now makes me a miniscule featherweight at 7 stone (44.5 kg) in weight. I haven't been such a lightweight since I was in my teens.

I'm not on any diet but have been eating out every night (a lot of meat and fish), alcohol most nights, barely 6 hours sleep, working long hours (average 10-11 hours a day). Only been to the gym once this past month. I look ok (according to the bf), feel ok (though tired at times) so I'm not suffering from burnout... just yet.

Hmmm...I really should have picked up those fresh cream doughnuts at the supermarket yesterday - whilst I'm seemingly burning off tons of calories without doing anything, perhaps I should be indulging more!

* Wasting away

  1. I was at my thinnest when I was working 14-16 hour days and not eating full meals. Ahh, I miss those days of being able to fit into a size 2 pair of pants. But I did suffer a breakdown, quit that job, got a new one so I am now plump as a Thanksgiving turkey!

  4. Not to worry. Those size 2 days are long gone and so are the pants. Sold at the garage sale. And as a matter of fact, I made some brownie cupcakes tonight so I am doing A-OK.

  6. Weenie, that post has peeded me off!
    Like you, I spent every night eating out & drinking at least 2 or 3 pints, working 12 hour days, etc & I returned with an added layer of flab.

    Aren't I lucky?
