"What are you watching?" asked the boyfriend, as he came downstairs.
"Women's football. Euro 2005," I replied.
He paused, watching the tv screen.
"So do they take their tops off at the end of the match?" he asked.
"Get back into your cave!" was my reply.
England lost 1-0 to Sweden and are now out of the competition. The game was entertaining, though different from the male version. The noise from the crowd had a distinct feminine voice. Would be great if more women's sport was televised.
