So, Sven has chosen his English squad for the coming World Cup, with some surprising inclusions and exclusions. Since this is his last fling as England manager, it looks like he has decided to throw the dice and gamble.
In interviews, he's always come across as quietly spoken, cool and calm. 'Detached' and 'somewhat unemotional' are words I would use.
This was not the case when I saw him interviewed on TV tonight in his native Swedish tongue. Svennis (as the Swedish tabloids like to call him) spoke loudly and confidently, smiled a lot more, and at times, showed a cheeky arrogance and swagger that probably hasn't been witnessed in the UK (except when slipping in and out of Ulrika and Faria's respective apartments...)
Shame I didn't understand a word that he said.
