Kinda like a diary of sorts for a gal who refuses to grow up but who's old enough to know better, likes her beach holidays, beer, gin, WoW, music, working out, reading, footie and nerdy, geeky sci-fi stuff...

Blues have the Blues
Old Trafford witnessed a triumphant 2-1 win by the Reds today - no, not the usual Manchester United reds, but the mighty scouse Liverpool reds, who faced runaway Premier League leaders Chelsea in the first FA Cup semi-final tie.
The Reds took the lead through a John Arne Riise free kick and then soon after the second half started, Luis Garcia doubled the scoreline with a beautiful goal, more than making up for his poor performance so far in the game.
The Blues didn't give up, surging forward and managing to claw a goal back. They continued to pile on the pressure towards the end but it was too little, too late, we destroyed the Blues' dream of achieving a double this season and the victory was sweet as it was the first and only win against Chelsea this season.
A good day today - got all my shopping done by noon, was a good girl and phoned my mum and my gran and had a good session at the gym. Just about to start on some beers... yay, come on the Reds! :)

Ahem, I guess you are pleased then? :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yes! :) :)
ReplyDeleteArgh! I couldn't watch it! Although maybe that was a blessing in disguise having now heard the results :-(
ReplyDeleteI would wish you luck for the final but I'm still too bitter! Instead I'm gonna go put myself through the pain of reading the match reports...
