I finally got round to going to the dentist.
I should have gone over year ago when one of my back teeth broke and then a filling fell out of another tooth but I just never made the appointment. When I went the other month about my "toothache", the dentist basically said I had to get the teeth sorted or they'd get worse. *sigh*
Now, £190 poorer, unable to eat or drink without dribbling, unable to talk without slurring (why did my tongue go numb??), I'm wondering why I didn't just go home, instead of coming into work.
Dedication - that's what, but I doubt they will remember it come my yearly review.
Excuse me whilst I wipe some spittle from the side of my mouth...
Yeah. Hate the dentist too. Mine has big scren tvs and massage chairs. Its till the dentist I say.
ReplyDeleteI had to say hello because I read your profile and was going 'hey! I like that! I like that too..' the whole way down.
So how far are you in HP #6?

Nice!
ReplyDeleteI have to go to the dentist at the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a check up, but I have been in the very same situation as you are right now, more times than I can count.
Hope you are done drooling by now
I'm done drooling but now that the anaesthetic has worn off, I'm in a bit of pain...yowch!
ReplyDeleteHey AG, I finished HP#6 a while back - enjoyed it, thought it was better than HP#5 but it wasn't brilliant.
