A Goal or Not a Goal?

Reds Glory

Who bloody cares, except that against all odds, Liverpool clung onto a slender 1-0 lead over Chelsea to go through to the final of the Champions League (the first time in 20 years...)

I nearly chewed my fingers off towards the end, but it was almost like the old days - Anfield was a fortress!

Jamie Carragher was my man of the match - he was a rock in defence.

The commentators I thought were biased towards Chelsea but in the end, they had little to say, bar going on about how tv evidence didn't show that the ball had crossed the line but hey, neither could it show that it didn't cross the line!

I was close to tears - only the boyfriend looking at me like I was an alien as I was jumping around with joy stopped the tears from flowing!

Bring on the FINAL!!!

  1. Nope, you couldn't tell for sure if it wasn't a goal or not, but I'm not complaining! :)

  2. it was, apparently, 4.2cm away from being a goal, so you're in the final *entirely* due to a bad decision.

well, perhaps not *entirely* due to that.

hey, you're a Liverpool fan. You should be pleased to *have* a boyfriend with that as criteria....... heh heh heh

  3. LOL Lord Bargain! The boyfriend hates football fullstop - however, he does consider being a Liverpool fan marginally better than being a Man United fan! What's 4.2cm anyway? About time we had some dodgy decisions going our way! :)
