I deffo need a break from work. I could hear myself snapping a little and getting impatient when people were asking me questions, cos all I wanted to do was get on with my work...actually, not my work, but the work I'm covering for J, who's off poorly. Good job I've been able to call her at home, else I'd never be able to get the stuff done. Also good job we have a temp in the department who's covering my work.
It didn't help that on occasions when I did get up from my desk, I could see people just hanging around, chatting - I haven't got time to chat! It looks like I didn't even have time to make too many toilet breaks as I barely left my desk today, my pedometer only measuring around 1500 steps all day! :O
I don't mind helping people but it really pisses me off when some people automatically ask how to do stuff, without even attempting to work it out for themselves or don't bother reading instructions.
Another thing that pisses me off is how people write "loose" when they mean "lose" - loose rhymes with MOOSE, you idiots!! It's "Win or Lose", not "Win or Loose!" Get a dictionary!!
Rant over...
I can't wait for my long weekend, so roll on Thursday and then I'm off for 5 days! Woo hoo! So what if it's half-term and I don't have any kids! I wanted to take a few days holiday so I got my days on the calendar first!
Time for bed methinks.
